Wyoming Pure Natural Beef is a family owned and operated business started by the Goertz family in 2004, to provide quality beef that consumers can feel good about feeding their families. The family has been raising cattle and wheat on the same farm and ranch since 1910, and says its highest priority is the finest beef with the highest customer satisfaction.
The ranch is managed to promote biodiversity and a healthy environment. Rotational grazing maintains the grass for grazing and improves wildlife habitat, and cover crops planted on the farm ground put organic material back into the soil while giving the cattle good forage. The farm raises certified organic wheat along with oats, barley, millet and hay for cattle feed, so what the herd eats is grown on the same ground it grazes.
The cattle are born and raised in southeast Wyoming and spend most of their lives on pasture or other forage crops. They are finished for 120 days on grain raised on the family's own farm or bought from other southeastern Wyoming producers, a method the family credits for the marbling and the taste. They are never given synthetic hormones or antibiotics. The herd is angus and red angus cross, genetics the family has spent nearly 115 years refining.
Beef is processed at 307 Meat Company in Laramie, Wyoming, a USDA inspected facility, dry aged 21 days, then cut and frozen in vacuum sealed packages. Orders ship nationwide by UPS every Monday and Tuesday, and there is free local delivery to Wheatland and Cheyenne on a $100 minimum, monthly delivery to Casper for halves and quarters, and pickup at the ranch's location on Slater Road by arrangement.

Where the ranch is.
Wheatland, Wyoming. No street address is published for any producer on this site, because none was published by the ranches and none was collected. The marker is the town.
Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, or select a state. With the map focused, the arrow keys pan and the plus and minus keys zoom. Every state outline and every ranch marker is reachable by keyboard, and every ranch on the map is also in the list below, so no producer is reachable only through the map. A member's marker is that ranch's membership badge, drawn larger at the higher levels. A free Registered Producer is a black dot on its own state, and an unclaimed Unregistered Producer record is a gray dot, which opens an invitation to the owner to claim the profile rather than a page.
