What we look for in a registered producer.
American Beef Direct exists specifically to connect consumers with American beef producers.
To maintain the integrity of the registry, registered producers should represent operations that:
- Operate as an American farm or ranch
- Raise the cattle or beef they sell rather than simply reselling another producer's beef
- Offer beef directly to consumers
- Use USDA-inspected or applicable state-inspected processing
- Maintain a live business website or online presence where consumers can learn more or purchase
