American Beef Direct is inviting a select group of American beef producers to become our inaugural Founding Members. These are the ranchers who will help establish the foundation of a national network designed to make it easier for consumers to discover American beef, learn the story behind it, and connect directly with the people who raise it.
Founding Members receive Lifetime Membership with no annual renewal fees, enhanced producer profiles, priority visibility, Founder recognition, and priority consideration for ranch stories, interviews, social features, consumer campaigns, and future American Beef Direct marketing opportunities.
For consumers, Founding Members will become some of the first ranches to discover through American Beef Direct, allowing you to meet the rancher, learn how their beef is raised, and connect directly with their ranch.
Only Three Founding Members Per State
This is an inaugural opportunity. Only three Lifetime Founding Memberships will be available in each state, and once those positions are filled, Founding Membership will no longer be offered in that state.

Five questions worth asking any rancher.
None of these is a trick question, and a good rancher will enjoy being asked. They are just the five facts that determine what the beef is actually like.
- Were the animals born on the place, or bought in to finish?
- What is the finishing ration, and how long are they on it?
- Where does the processing happen, and is the plant USDA inspected or state inspected?
- How long is the beef aged, and is it dry aged or wet aged?
- What does the cut sheet look like, and what will I actually get in the box?
