Holland Cattle Company works its own ranch in Burnet County and partners with other Central Texas ranches to supply pasture raised beef from the original Samuel Ely Holland Ranch. Samuel Ely Holland bought 1,280 acres on Hamilton Creek in 1848 and built the first permanent home in the county, put in the first cultivated farm and strung the first wire fence. He and Peter Kerr are credited with bringing the first white faced cattle into that part of Texas.
Every generation since has kept the same reputation for raising top quality livestock, and the family is now more than 175 years into it. Raising good meat in a healthy, natural environment is the full time business, not a hobby, and the goal the family states plainly is to build practices sustainable enough to still be here in another hundred years.
Everything starts with the grass. Cattle, sheep, hogs, chickens and wildlife are raised together on native grasses, with room to roam, sunshine, natural creek water and miles to meander. All cattle at Holland Ranches and its partnering ranches are pasture raised and grass fed. A local, Texas state inspected, family owned butcher shop cuts and vacuum packs the meat, and the beef is dry aged 14 to 18 days for tenderness and flavor.
What they raise
- Whole, half, quarter and eighth beef
- Angus beef boxes
- Individual Angus cuts
- Pasture raised lamb
- Wholesale and on the hoof purchases

Registered American Beef Producer. We confirmed the operation is an American family farm or ranch selling beef it raised itself before we listed it. That is our review of the operation, not a USDA certification. See what we check.
Shipping and availability
Central Texas partner ranches and a local Texas inspected butcher. A shipping reach beyond the state is not stated. Ask the ranch.
Shipping terms are the ranch's, they change, and the ranch's own site is the authority.

Where the ranch is.
Marble Falls, Texas. No street address is published for any producer on this site, because none was published by the ranches and none was collected. The marker is the town.
Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, or select a state. With the map focused, the arrow keys pan and the plus and minus keys zoom. Every state outline and every ranch marker is reachable by keyboard, and every ranch on the map is also in the list below, so no producer is reachable only through the map. A member's marker is that ranch's membership badge, drawn larger at the higher levels. A free Registered Producer is a black dot on its own state, and an unclaimed Unregistered Producer record is a gray dot, which opens an invitation to the owner to claim the profile rather than a page.
